This Scripture-based Bible study guides teens through the books of Colossians and Philemon, helping them grow in their understanding of who Jesus is, what He has done, and how believers are called to live. My daughter has been wanting to study a whole book of the Bible rather than just a topical one. She loves the colors and has learned so much. We have had so many great conversations together. I am so thankful for the end of week questions so we can have such great discipleship conversations together. I got the younger two studies as well, and all of the kids are talking about the Bible together throughout the week. This makes my heart so happy! I am thrilled to have found family Bible studies!
We met Renee at a conference. She was such a great speaker and we went to see her afterward. I had lost my job and we were short on money. My son wanted a study but we couldn't afford it. She told us she was not doing this at all for money but because she wanted people to study God's word. She gave my son a copy of this for free. My son and daughter both loved this study. I did the parent study along with them, and loved the chats we had. They learned so much! They have done topical studies before, but this was their first book study, and them knowing they can study a book of the Bible is priceless. This one was different from the Ephesians one which we loved as well. I love that they added color to the studies for the Colossians one.
My middle and high schoolers learned so much about Jesus. I am so glad they will know the truth about who he is. The reviews at the end of each chapter were great. They learned a ton. I did not get the parent book, but I will next time. I saw it when I went to hear Rene speak and regretted not getting it. We just ordered the Ephesians family study for everyone. We can't wait to do this one.
This study is so good! Buy it - you won't regret it. This is the first study my son has been pulling out on his own. I have the parent one as well, and our conversations about the Bible from the parent chat and questions at the end of the week have been wonderful. Seeing him so excited to study the Bible has left me in tears - happy ones.
