I can't get over how much my kids loved this study. It is so fun to look at. They are almost done with the last week of the study. My 8 year old has been able to do it almost entirely on his own. He did ask me for help with a question a couple of times. My 10 year old and he would talk about what they learned each day and I heard them praying together for one of their friends who doesn't know Jesus. I loved seeing them apply what they were learning to their lives.
I have been looking everywhere for a Bible study for kids that went through a book in the Bible, and have been unable to find one/or very unimpressed. This one is completely different!! The colors, pictures, explanations, and ease of questions make it easy for my kids to do on their own. My youngest does listen instead of read the Bible sometimes if there are long words or his older sister helps him. They have learned so much & enjoyed it!! Get this!
I can't believe how much my kids love this study. The colors and pictures drew them in and now they are diving so deep into God's Word. I love that the study is based on a book of the Bible rather than just topical. I really wanted my kids to read and study a whole book. They were so excited to finish this and we hung their certificates on the fridge. We are getting Philippians next! My friend's kids just finished that one and loved it.
We used this in our homescool co-op. The kids were so engaged and we had great discussions. I know it is made for families, but worked great in this setting as well. The kids loved the pictures had fun plus learned a lot. I didn't think kids this age could have studied a whole book of the Bible but they did and they were so excited. It was a mixed class of 3rd-5th graders and all were able to do it well.
