Sharing the Gospel
I love sharing the gospel with others. It is the best news ever. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. I want to give you some verses and a little of what I say as I share the gospel with kids, and honestly adults as well. This is just one way that I share the gospel. I pretty much adjust it to each person.

I usually draw pictures as I share the gospel. First, I will often share about how God created the whole world, and when He did, it was good. Then we chat about how everything is not very good now. There is sickness, pain, and hurt. There is sin.
And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. Genesis 1:31a
Then I talk to them about what sin is. Sin is anything that we say or do that God doesn't want us to do, or anything that God wants us to do that we don't do. Then I talk about how we have all sinned.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

If people think they don't sin much, I will say, imagine if I only sinned 3 times a day. Let's say I got cut off in traffic and got mad. Someone asked if I liked their dress, and I lied and said yes when I didn't actually, and I gossiped about someone. That would seem like a pretty good day. Then I pull out my calculator and see that 3 sins a day is 1,095. And, even one sin is worthy of death.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Then, we talk about how God loves us so much, that He had a plan from the beginning to save us from death and to allow us to live forever, and that plan was to send His only Son to die in our place for our sins.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16
This plan is talked about throughout Scripture. Just as the Scripture said. Jesus died for our sins. He was buried and then 3 days later rose from the dead. This is such amazing news!
For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
We talk about the importance of knowing that Jesus is our Savior. He is the only one who can save us from our sins. We can be righteous and our sins can be forgiven because of what Jesus did.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
There is nothing that we can do to save ourselves. We can't work our way to heaven. Salvation is a free gift from God.
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

I always have kids explain the gospel back to me. I want to make sure that they understand what we have talked about. I also have them pray outlaid, but I do not tell them what to say in their prayer. I listen to ensure they understand that He is their Savior, and that they ask for forgiveness for their sins.
