Then the LORD said to Jacob, “Go back to the land of your fathers and to your kindred, and I will be with you.” Genesis 31:3.
Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me. Psalm 139:7-10
God is always with us. This is so comforting to me. During the good times and the bad, He sees us. No matter what we are going through, we have a God who sees us, loves us, and cares for us. Jacob and David had both made mistakes, yet God was with them. I am so thankful that we have a God who does not leave us or forsake us and who gives us a path to walk on. He is right with us in the midst of diaper changing, driving kids around, and dealing with the brokenness and sin around us. Today no matter what you are going through, remember the Almighty God Who created the universe, is with you. He is your refuge, strength, and comforter. He is with you.
